Six northern traders dead near Warawar

Six northern traders were killed by an unknown group in Al Jarf region of Northern Bahr el Ghazal state, on the border between north and south Sudan.

Radio Tamazuj learnt that the six traders were using a car and a tractor to carry goods to South Sudan on their way to Warawar commercial area. Communication with them was lost late last week until they were found dead in Al Jarf area south of the Bahr Al Arab, near Warawar.

The same sources added that a mourning tent has been set up for the victims in the Meiram area in South Kordofan. They provided no more information about the crime.
