SAF drops bombs on South Kordofan

The Sudan Air Force (SAF) has reportedly carried out intense shelling in South Kordofan over the past two days.

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) spokesman Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said on Thursday the Sudan Air Force launched 12 air strikes on Buram town killing one person and injuring two others.

Another eight bombs were dropped on the Kau Nyaro area causing the death of one man, named as Mamour Khiralla, and the destruction of many homes.

Witnesses also said on Wednesday an Antonov aircraft dropped eight bombs on a Bible College in Haiban, creating a state of panic in the area.

Lodi reiterated his warning to the ruling National Congress Party that it will ‘face grave consequences for its continued indiscriminate aerial bombardments and the mobilization of its forces and militias to deliberately obstruct, undermine and delay the evacuation process of the Chinese workers.’
