Security authorities in Rubkona county, Unity state in South Sudan have arrested 10 people, on charges of possessing fire arms and looting property from citizens.

The County Sheriff Tigi Abyo, said the police arrested '10 criminals' in possession of weapons, and blamed the recent flow of arms into the state, accusing Khartoum of backing the armed group.

The police chief said they are now investigating the case and preparing to take the accused to justice.
