Rising prices in Western Bahr Al Ghazal

There are reports of the prices of some commodities sharply increasing in Raja county, Western Bahr Al Ghazal in South Sudan.

Sources told Radio Tamazuj this is due to the blockade of routes from Sudan via Al Daein to South Sudan.

The prices of goods coming from Sudan such as sugar, onions and oil have risen despite the stability along roads linking Raja with the cities of the South.

However the source said there is stability in some agricultural products made in the region.
