Price hikes and power outages continue in Dilling

The citizens of Dilling in South Kordofan have complained of the continued hike in food prices as well as lack of electricity supply to the area.

A number of citizens told Radio Tamazuj the city's markets are witnessing increases in staple consumer goods such as cooking oil.

They said it was due to a number of traders being affected by the security situation in the area, which has seen the blocking of certain roads and trade routes.

The fighting in the area has also contributed and caused the failure of the agricultural season, as well as the displacement of farmers from areas of production.
