Jelhak displaced families suffering from aid blockade

Families in Jelhak, displaced within Blue Nile state, complained of poor humanitarian conditions due to the absence of operational aid organisations, and the conflict continuing in neighbouring areas.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman said people in Jelhak, fled there following the outbreak of war in September 2011, but do not have any access to assistance, and are facing increasingly difficult conditions.

Many have been living cut off from food and water supplies in Jelhak, since November last year, in addition to other families that continue to arrive to the area.
