Two teenage boys have been arrested by police after they allegedly stole 22 chickens in Eastern Bahr Naam County in Western Lakes State.

According to police authorities, the crime took place on Monday.

Shadid Mamer, a policeman in Eastern Bahr Naam County, told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that two teenage boys stole 22 chickens from several homes in the area.

He further said police officers located and arrested the two boys who are now facing charges. Mamer pointed out that the stolen chickens were returned to their owners.
