The Red Army Foundation in South Sudan’s Jonglei State on Saturday donated five drums of fuel and two bulls to students at Dr. John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology.

The Red Army Foundation is a national organization that brings together former child soldiers in the Red Army. They contributed to the country’s liberation struggle.

David Dut Ayuen, chairperson of the Red Army Foundation in Jonglei, told Radio Tamazuj on Saturday that they donated fuel and two bulls to help address challenges facing university students in Bor.

He pointed out that the donation worth 500, 000 SSP, adding the money was raised through a fundraising event launched during a celebration of the Red Army Foundation in Bor.

Dut pledged that the Red Army will continue supporting the needy people in the country.

Several students appreciated the donation and urged the Red Army Foundation to donate more fuel.

Last week, the organization donated fuel to Bor Hospital.
