Local authorities in Ajuet Mawein Diing County in South Sudan’s Aweil State said farmers do not have good harvest this year due to floods that have affected various areas articulately the eastern part of the area.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, Deng Garang Mawech, Ajuet Mawein County commissioner said rice production has failed this year.

 “Eastern part of the county is affected by the floods,” said the commissioner.
